An opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Clinical Director to lead our clients' enthusiastic and vibrant team in Cornwall. The practice, which is RCVS accredited and has ISFM Silver accreditation, has been providing outstanding care to the animals of Cornwall since the 1870’s.

There is a fantastic, dedicated team which consists of 4 vets, 5 RVNs, and 2 SVNs and of course the lovely receptionists. The practice is well established and has been serving the local community for many years. The clients are keen for innovative, proactive treatments and in-depth work ups. There are nurses with surgical diplomas who firmly believe in using their RVNs skills to their fullest extent. They are now looking for an enthusiastic small animal vet to manage their varied caseload, working alongside 3 other vets. You will have the opportunity to really shape the practice. CPD is actively encouraged and there is a good range of kit available in practice where certificates are supported and encouraged.

Situated in the charming parish town of Helston in Cornwall, they are perfectly located for all the nature lovers among you. From the beautiful seaside strolls of Porthleven Harbour and Loe Pool, to the stunning sights of Bonython Estate Gardens and Halliggye Fougou, the Cornish great outdoors really is something to behold. Helston has good travel links with Penzance only 13 miles to the West and Falmouth 13 miles to the East along the A394. There are regular bus services and Penzance airport means that London is only a short flight away.

This is a full-time role for 4 days per week and Saturday mornings on a 1:4 rota and no OOH’s. Salary is up to £75,000 pa DOE.

Benefits include:

6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays

£1750 CPD Allowance per annum (£2500 if a cert holder)
