The role is central to the planning, delivery, and management of training programs across the non-medical professions and grades, tailored towards staff, students, and other learners within the organisation. You will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders and providing line management support to Clinical Education Facilitators, thus ensuring the delivery, evaluation, and development of training and development.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration with senior managers, specialists, and educators to identify training needs and develop comprehensive clinical education programs across a variety of clinical skills. Act as the Trust lead for regulatory standards, supporting mentors, assessors, and learners in competency development and assessment. Coordinate placement programs for Pre-Registration Learners, working with HEIs to maintain quality clinical learning environments. Deliver core clinical training, induction, and competency workshops for staff, ensuring alignment with organisational needs. Manage and develop junior team members, ensuring high performance through effective supervision and appraisal. Lead audits and reviews to measure the effectiveness of educational initiatives, contributing to service improvement and innovation.
