To be responsible alongside the Lead Consultants for Audit for coordinating and overseeing all clinical audits undertaken within the Maternity, Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. To conduct audits and develop and monitor action plans to ensure recommendations/actions are embedded into clinical practice. Working for Our Organisation

To lead and coordinate the benchmarking of all regional and national audits. To ensure action plans are SMART and monitor the progress of the action plans until completion. To present all regional and national audit reports and action plans to the Women’s Health Quality Board. To provide results of all clinical audits as required for business planning and compliance with national guidelines. Person Specification
Registered Midwife Experience in clinical audit An awareness of National and Local safety initiatives Confident in working in a multidisciplinary team environment Experience of teaching/training others Qualification in audit practice The Behavioural Standards Framework Everybody’s responsibility in everything we do.
