Within this role you will be one of a team who are committed to improving the patient pathway to promote and deliver high standards of patient care, outcomes, experience, safety and quality. The successful applicant will be a JAG accredited endoscopist with significant experience of undertaking independent endoscopy procedures. The role will require working unsupervised as an expert practitioner, performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. RN 1st level current NMC Registration or Registration with other professional body Post graduate Qualification or equivalent skills in specialist field of practice JAG accredited endoscopy training supported by relevant academic qualification Evidence of on-going CPD in specialist area of practice to masters equivalent level Research experience Experience in training Endoscopy trainees Masters Degree relevant to nursing practice Nurse Prescribing Experience
Autonomous practitioner with nurse endoscopist experience of carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy Evidence of an ability to prioritise workload for themselves and their team Experience in change and project management Significant experience in leading audits Disclosure and Barring Service Check
