Applications are welcome for the above fixed term, full (40 hours per week) post based in Liberton Hospital, Findlay, Ferryfield and Ellens Glen House. This post offers a wide range of Community Geriatric experience in Hospital at Home and frailty outpatients, bed based rehabilitation and complex care settings. The successful applicants will rotate around these areas and provide prospective cover to bed based areas working with an enthusiastic and supportive team of consultants. This post will provide excellent broad Geriatric clinical experience with access to weekly teaching and regular governance activities, the opportunity to complete a quality improvement project and have annual appraisal. Flexible and less than full time working is fully supported. There is no on call or out of hours working associated with this post. We welcome International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and offer a 1 month supernumerary induction period for those in their first NHS post. For those who are IMGs and this is their first NHS post this is available from start of July to commence a paid supernumerary period. For those where this is not their first NHS job and in other employment then the post is available from August handover.
