Detailed job description and main responsibilities The Addenbrookes Department of Cardiology provides cardiac care to the population of Cambridgeshire and beyond (c. 450,000). The following services are provided, with opportunities for experience in all of these areas: Inpatients - 10-bed Coronary Care Unit, with 21-bed step down/general Cardiology ward; Outpatients - daily clinics, including Rapid Access Cardiology, Heart Failure, Cardiac Genetics, Obstetric Cardiology, AF Clinic; non-invasive investigations, including echocardiography (standard and complex) and rhythm monitoring; Catheter laboratory - angiography, permanent pacing, implantation of CRT and ICD devices; Imaging, including nuclear, CT, Cardiac MRI and PET.
