We are looking for an

Occupational Therapist

who has advanced skills, can treat and manage complex cancer patients in an in-patient environment, and is confident in challenging current practices to ensure that our patients receive up-to-date evidence-based treatments.

You will be naturally empathetic, demonstrating good communication skills to facilitate close working relationships with both service users and staff.

You will need to be creative and flexible to meet the changing needs of the caseload and service.

You will demonstrate leadership qualities and take an active interest in the teaching and development of others. The role will also include profession-specific supervision to the Occupational Therapist working in the Oncology Outpatient Team.

You will manage your own caseload while overseeing the workload of other team members.

There will be a commitment to 1:4 weekend working and 2 bank holidays throughout the year. There will be an expectation for this post to cover Mondays to provide OT cover across the week.
