As our Clinical Governance Lead at our Wessex Hospital, you will provide strong clinical leadership and scrutiny of all matters relating to the quality of clinical care delivery. This role will work alongside senior clinical leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate clinical excellence and fulfil Nuffield Health’s charitable purpose. You will be a registered clinician (NMC, HCPC, or GPC) and educated up to degree/postgraduate level in a clinical discipline. You will also have relevant qualifications in organisational governance (e.g., ISO9001 Auditor or equivalent) and demonstrate senior leadership within the healthcare sector, with significant experience in clinical governance and quality assurance. Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work proactively and efficiently are essential. As our Clinical Governance Lead, you will: Champion the organisation’s brand values. Drive the continuous improvement of our data quality and data analysis capabilities. Oversee reporting and escalation processes (e.g., Board and Incident Reporting) to guide quality learning and decision-making. Work alongside other senior clinical and medical leaders to lead the delivery of quality assurance and improvement activities. Lead on the continued development, review, and oversight of clinical policies and SOPs. Provide advice, guidance, and subject matter expertise on governance processes. Support the maintenance and achievement of clinical and/or organisational accreditation (e.g., ISO9001). Contribute to and facilitate successful certification. Support the delivery and achievement of Nuffield Health’s Quality Improvement Plan. Contribute towards strategic negotiations on clinical governance and quality assurance.
