Job summary Clinical Imaging Support Worker (CISW) Opportunities exist in our North Wales Division. Breast Test Wales plans, provides, manages and evaluates the NHS Breast Screening Programme in Wales. The North Wales Region based at Llandudno and Wrexham employs approximately 29 Mammographic staff, comprising of Clinical Specialist Radiographers, Advanced Practitioners, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners and Clinical Imaging Support Workers. The North Wales region has 2 static screening centres with screening and assessment clinic facilities. We also operate 3 Mobile Screening Units which provide local screening services across North Wales. We are actively seeking to recruit a Clinical Imaging Support Worker (CISW), based in Llandudno. We would like to hear from self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals who wish to develop their career and become part of our forward-thinking team. Main duties of the job The role of the CISW comprises of administrative duties mainly, however it will also include supporting our clinical service during assessment/screening clinics held at our base. Applications are welcome from individuals who are interested in a career in breast screening. The successful applicant will be supported to complete an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health Screening, provided and accredited by Agored Cymru, with the help of the in-house training team at Breast Test Wales. The post requires an individual with excellent communication skills as the successful candidate will have to liaise with other team members and the public on a day-to-day basis.
