We are looking for an individual who is: Enthusiastic about the role of dietetics within mental health services Passionate about working with this client group. Motivated to educate service users and staff about nutrition and wellbeing and to support ongoing service development and training opportunities within the service. Able and willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be building on the dietetic continuous improvement work that has started across the Forensic services, working closely with the Forensics physical health team and leadership teams on both sites. They will have a small dietetic caseload, with the focus on dietetic consultation/triage work. The aim of this work will be to make recommendations to guide future nutritional interventions to the wider multi-disciplinary team. Staff and service user nutrition training will be key to this role, working collaboratively to empower cultural change around nutrition, physical health and wellbeing.
