Lead and support the leads for Physiotherapy, Speech and Language, and Occupational Therapy within the Learning Disability Service. You will take a clinical lead role in supporting people with Learning Disabilities to experience improved health, well-being, life skills, and integration into their community, actively contributing to the development and delivery of the MDT response to the current and emerging needs of people with Learning Disabilities in Salford. Qualifications
Qualification in Learning Disability Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, or Physiotherapy Active registration with HCPC or NMC Knowledge
Experience and skill in providing guidance/support/advice to carers and providers that constructively challenges current practice. Excellent interpersonal skills including observation, listening, and empathy Evidence of involvement and leadership in teaching and mentoring learners Demonstrates initiative when working independently and as part of a team Evidence of involvement in policy and practice change Skills
Evidence of effective people management and leadership skills Evidence of CPD in relevant areas Disclosure and Barring Service Check
