We have a fixed term 12 month vacancy for a Macmillan Clinical Lead Head and Neck Oncology Dietitian. The post holder will be working within well established oncology MDTs at Castle Hill Hospital providing dietetic support to head and neck oncology patients, as well as supporting the upper gastrointestinal and inpatient caseload. The post holder will be supporting the oncology team alongside another team lead for oncology, ensuring that staff, patient and service needs are met.
Main Duties of the Job
To provide operational management and clinical leadership to a team of oncology dietitians and support workers, providing an extensive clinical service to patients at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This will include undertaking advanced assessment and treatment of patients, who may have a complex and/or chronic presentation, to determine clinical diagnosis and propose suitable intervention/care plans.
