Responsibilities As Clinical Lead Nurse, you’ll be part of the senior team that sets the tone for delivering the highest standards of care in compliance with the NMC code of conduct. The safety of your team and the safeguarding of your residents are a key focus for your clinical lead role. Together with your Home Manager, you will set the standards of excellence that empower and encourage your team to emulate. This role involves leading oversight of clinical care, including all records relating to care provided, clinical supervision of nurses, mentoring trainee nurses, participating in clinical reviews of residents, evaluating assessments for potential new residents, and being a source of ideas for the development of the service. As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will represent your home with pride and passion. You’ll stay up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations, using your initiative to make effective decisions that improve care quality. You will strive to provide great quality holistic care, making every day better than the last, and you’ll be an ambassador of our values, helping every resident maintain the independence they seek and the dignity they deserve. Ideal Candidate You’re a registered nurse RGN with excellent clinical skills and a valid UK NMC pin. You’re currently working as a Senior Nurse/Unit Manager or Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead with experience in complex care. You’re a good clinical lead – confident in leading a team and helping them make the most of every day. You’re multi-skilled – involved in everything from planning to training and marketing. You’re a good listener – understanding what matters to your residents, their families, and your team. You’re a good learner – taking on the challenges of training your team and yourself. You’re ambitious – wanting the best for your home and your people.
