Are you an experienced Mental Health Practitioner/Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity in South Somerset? For this post, we are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse or a Registered General Nurse with Mental Health experience. This Secondment post offers a rare opportunity to maintain and develop your clinical practice within a leadership and management role. Main Duties of the Job

Advise and communicate as appropriate with acute hospitals, primary and social care and community teams, ensuring seamless continuity and transfer of care for patients. Establish, maintain and effectively manage advanced communication with service users, carers, and professionals to develop therapeutic relationships. Contribute to the development, implementation, and audit of protocols, guidelines, and policies for the service. Participate in maintaining systems for risk assessment and minimization. Contribute to the investigation of incidents and complaints when required. About Us

Qualifications

Essential: Current registration with relevant professional body NMC/HCPC. Relevant degree or equivalent experience. Desirable: Leadership/Management Qualification. Experience

Essential: Experience at Registered Practitioner Band 6 level. Demonstrated specialist expertise and knowledge through CPD. Evidence of risk management skills and experience. Experience of developing specialist programmes of care. Experience of multi-disciplinary working.
