Main duties of the job The post holder will provide clinical therapy leadership in the Waiting List Support Service. This will include working collaboratively with other therapies and planned care specialties to lead a multi-professional approach. They will play a key clinical leadership role in the further development of services by scoping, planning, and evaluating of the service. This will include leading in quality improvement, audit and service evaluation.
The post holder will: Scope, develop, implement and maintain clinical standards in defined area Plan & deliver skills based training within this specialty area, utilising a competency based framework for other staff in line with national frameworks. Undertake critical analysis, appraisal and synthesis of current research outcomes and/or relevant literature in order to maintain expert levels of knowledge and practice within specialty area.
Job responsibilities The post holder will autonomously manage individuals with a range of needs, some of which will be highly specialised & complex, using evidence-based/client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in the designated setting.
The post holder will undertake a team leader role by planning, coordinating delivery and evaluating of the service in collaboration with service leader.
