Working within an award-winning team delivering expert clinical inpatient and community crisis care. Ensure the service operates in a safe, effective, and efficient way as part of the whole system of mental health services. Foster a culture that encourages and enables individuals to have an active role in identifying, planning, and meeting their individual needs. Provide leadership to the junior staff through supervision and actively participate in the smooth running of the service over a 24-hour period. Provide nursing and clinical leadership and managerial support to the home manager for a care home with nursing for 4 complex individuals. Main Duties of the Job

Qualifications

Membership of a professional body (NMC) Experience

1 year post-qualification experience working with people with learning disabilities or within a mental health setting (e.g., acute inpatient ward) Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
