Our client, a leading full service law firm, are looking to add a Clinical Negligence NQ Solicitor to their team in central Newcastle.The role would suit a newly qualified Solicitor who has completed a seat in either claimant or defendant clinical negligence, who is looking to qualify into this area.The team are also open to qualified Solicitors with up to 2 years' post qualifying experience who will attract a higher salary.
Responsibilities:
Handling a caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction through trial to settlement.
Assessing liability, and reporting on findings.
Drafting correspondence.
Drafting and submitting court documents, witness statements, applications, replies and adhering to court direction.
Attendance at court.
Providing expert legal advice to clients.
Negotiating settlement.
