The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join our team in either Southampton or Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of clinical negligence work with minimal supervision, in line with department strategy (support will be provided) Handle a diverse range of clinical negligence cases Maintain a thorough understanding of CPR and clinical negligence law Provide clients with advice on sensitive issues Draft witness statements and pleadings Review medical reports and offer appropriate advice Maintain a basic understanding of medical issues Instruct and communicate with Counsel Manage complex conferences Collaborate with other solicitors to foster good client relationships and enhance clinical negligence knowledge
We seek a highly ambitious and self-motivated individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be forward-thinking, with an attitude and approach to work as important as their experience.
