We are excited to advertise a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Lead post on Rose Lodge where there will be opportunities to work both as part of a team and independently using initiative. The Clinical Nurse Lead will participate in collaborative working with patients, carers, the MDT, and community services to facilitate high standards of individualised patient care and progression to successful discharges. They will receive and deliver clinical supervision, appraisals, and training opportunities to support achieving high standards of care. Rose Lodge is a learning disability specialist assessment and treatment inpatient unit based in Hebburn, South Tyneside. Rose Lodge has 10 beds providing acute assessment and treatment by a multi-disciplinary team. All of the learning disability specialist assessment and treatment wards offer a multi-disciplinary approach (based on the Bio-Psycho-Social Model of Care) to care for adults aged 18 and over with learning disabilities and mental health problems or severely challenging behaviour. The Clinical Nurse Lead will work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs-based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within an inpatient setting. They act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager. They facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care and treatment. They are visible and accessible to patients, families, and carers, working together to ensure efficient, effective, and caring services. Job Responsibilities

Education and Qualification

ENB 998 / P126/127 or equivalent. Leadership Experience Knowledge and Experience

Post-registration clinical experience. 12 to 24 months band 5 qualified nurse experience dependent upon service need. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Change Management. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
