Are you a dynamic and experienced nurse leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care? We are seeking a motivated, innovative nurse to join our team in our fast-paced Surgical Assessment Unit and Ward (SAU/SAW). We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to lead, innovate, and make a real difference to emergency patient pathways and patient care.

Main duties of the job

As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational running of the Surgical Assessment Unit, ensuring high standards of care are achieved and maintenance of emergency access and flow. You will lead a skilled team, foster collaboration across disciplines, and drive service development initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Applicants should be an experienced nurse at a senior level with experience of managing teams.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate at interview a breadth of knowledge and experience with service redesign and innovation. A sound knowledge of clinical governance processes and patient safety systems will be required as well as insight into emergency pathways and care delivery opportunities.
