Lead the delivery of surgical / medical care for Central Queenslanders in Gladstone!
Join us as a Clinical Nurse, leading and supporting the delivery of care to 31 inpatient beds which cover sub-acute, medical, surgical, rehabilitation and palliative care patients.
About the role :
The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides an early leadership role within the career pathway for nursing within CQHHS and is responsible for a specific patient population and can function in more complex situations while providing support and direction to the Registered Nurse (RN), Enrolled Nurse (EN) and other non-registered nursing personnel. The CN follows defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe practice and services and workplaces.
About you :
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A relevant postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, and contribute to professional nursing practice with confidence and integrity.
Proven ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.
What we offer :
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of :
An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
