Main duties of the job
Provide specialist nursing care to children and young people with life limiting conditions. Work alongside colleagues to provide 24-hour care, 7 days per week through an on-call service. Contribute to governance, including writing policies, procedures, audit, and research. Support the development of knowledge and skills of care staff and agencies. Be an independent non-medical prescriber or willing to undertake the course. Accountable to

To provide specialist level palliative care and support to children and young people with life limiting conditions and their families. Person Specification
Qualifications Current NMC registration (RN Child, RSCN or equivalent) Educated to degree level OR evidence of study at this level Supporting Learners in practice (assessment/mentorship) qualification Experience Relevant clinical experience in a hospice, community or hospital setting Safeguarding children, young people and families Skills/knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills Excellent clinical skills Ability to work within multi-professional teams For more information, or to apply for this role, please follow the link here.
