Clinical Outcomes Improvement Manager (Learning from Deaths)

Report to and support the Mortality and Learning from Deaths Lead and deliver against the portfolio within the Trust. Support the development, implementation and monitoring of all aspects of the Mortality and Learning from Deaths portfolio and quality improvement activity within the Trust. Provide expert guidance to ensure the allocation of SJRs to Reviewers are prioritised and completed in a timely manner. Support reviewers who may require additional advice and guidance. Develop effective communication networks across multi-professional and multi-disciplinary groups to ensure all departments and directorates are fully aware of Mortality and Learning from Deaths guidelines and any other work and programmes within the Mortality and Learning from Deaths portfolio. Attend divisional meetings and Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) meetings and report against the agenda item on Mortality and Learning from Deaths programmes of work and divisional performance, assisting proactively to ensure improvement and compliance. Facilitate and ensure that all Clinical Audits/QIPs are focused on local, national and regional priorities.
