We have an opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in the Pharmacy department. This is a part-time role for hours a week. We welcome applications from candidates with experience working in the secondary care or primary care sector (including community pharmacy). Applications from newly qualified pharmacists or overseas pharmacists who have received their GPhC registration are also welcomed. Training on our pharmacy IT programme will be provided upon commencement of the role. Applicants with a community pharmacy background will be given a comprehensive induction into hospital pharmacy. There will also be an opportunity to enroll in relevant post-graduate clinical training. There will be no on-call commitments.
Your new role
There is currently no dispensary on site, and you will be supported by two part-time pharmacy technicians. You will be required to provide an efficient, professional and flexible clinical pharmacy service to all patients, staff, consultants and customers. You will be required to provide pharmaceutical expertise and input into the care of patients, and to supervise the procurement, distribution and supply of medicines within the hospital.
