There’s a new opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join adedicated healthcare team in Manchester. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert pharmacological advice, and collaborating with clinicians to optimize patient care. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will help improve treatment outcomes, reduce medication-related risks, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services.

Responsibilities: 

  • Medication Management: Conduct medication reviews, advise on appropriate drug therapy, and monitor for interactions or side effects.
  • Patient Education: Counsel patients on medication use, adherence, and managing side effects.
  • Clinical Support: Collaborate with healthcare teams, provide pharmacotherapy recommendations, and attend multidisciplinary rounds.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to audits, track medication safety, and implement initiatives to improve outcomes.
  • Training & Compliance: Educate staff on medication-related topics and ensure adherence to relevant guidelines and legislation.

Essential:

  • Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
