To be successful in applying for this role you will need: BSc Psychology (or equivalent recognised by BPS) and post-graduate doctorate training or statement of equivalence from BPS. Doctoral level training in Clinical, Counselling, or Health Psychology. Ability to effectively manage a clinical caseload alongside other professional responsibilities. Experience of working with MDT teams in a medical setting. High level of written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication for different audiences and convey complex and sensitive information. Interest in or experience of working with people with gastrointestinal conditions. Knowledge of risk assessment within medical settings. It would also be desirable to have: Additional training in approaches valuable in health settings e.g. ACT, CFT, EMDR. Experience of supervising qualified and trainee psychologists. Familiarity with working remotely as well as face to face. In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of: Registration with the relevant Registration Body.
