We seek to appoint a clinical research associate to assist the team at the Institute of Metabolic Science led by Professor Sir Stephen O'Rahilly and Dr Maria Chondronikola in their programme of research focused on the in vivo phenotyping human carriers of mutations in genes involved in metabolic and endocrine processes, recalled by genotype.

The post holder, who must be GMC registered and possess membership of a UK Royal College or equivalent, will be responsible for recruitment and phenotyping of participants.

Fixed-term:

The post is funded for 1 year in the first instance and would be suitable for a trainee wishing to develop a proposal for an externally funded clinical research training fellowship.

This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract.

This is an integrated appointment between the University and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ("NHS Trust"). You will therefore also be issued with an Honorary Clinical Contract by the NHS Trust. You should be aware that if your contract with the NHS Trust is terminated, your employment with the University will be terminated, and vice versa.
