Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a full time Clinical Research Fellow in Gastroenterology for a fixed term period of 12 months from August 2025. The clinical duties of this post will be based predominantly at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSECH); with cross site working including elective sessions at Wansbeck General Hospital (WGH), North Tyneside General Hospital (NTGH) and Hexham General Hospital (HGH). The successful candidate will be given full training in the wide spectrum of Gastroenterology, both on our acute Gastroenterology inpatient wards and in a wide range of outpatient clinics. You will be encouraged to develop your skills at Specialty Trainee level, participate in the provision of outpatient services and Gastroenterology procedures, and take a role in the current rota for NSECH. The post will be based at North Tyneside General Hospital with outpatient and diagnostic commitments Trustwide; as such the post holder may be required to work at other sites within the Trust. If the successful appointee has over four years post qualification experience, they will be appointed on Specialty Doctor 2021 Terms and Conditions.
