Clinical Research Nurse - Humber, Scunthorpe & Barnsley 2 year contract Our client is a leading supplier of mobile facilities that relieve hospital capacity and support vital clinical research. They partner with NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers, enabling the delivery of essential patient services to communities across the country. We are looking for Registered nurses who can work in the Yorkshire area and be able to travel within the following areas as required: Humber, Scunthorpe, and Barnsley, working Monday - Friday with no requirement to work nights. This is an exciting new project funded by CRUK and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The trial aims to determine whether the test can be used to determine early diagnosis of cancer of the oesophagus and reduce the number of deaths due to oesophageal cancer. To support this study, we are recruiting Clinical Research Nurses to work across the locations outlined. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a ground-breaking clinical trial and work across different locations carrying out clinical trial activities to ensure the successful delivery and recruitment of the study. You will be responsible for managing clinics on the mobile unit and will be trained to administer the capsule sponge test. You will work alongside established clinical teams, researchers, research nurses, and administrators to facilitate recruitment, sample collection, data entry, and providing clinical support as required. You will therefore be required to travel to various sites and undertake clinics in a mobile unit. Essential requirements of the role: NMC Registration with continued CPD Previous research experience or Upper GI experience Knowledge of research methodology Significant post-registration clinical experience Experience in performing nurse-led clinics ICH GCP Training Prior experience in cancer research and endoscopy You must have full UK residency and hold a full and clean valid driving licence Excellent Basic + healthcare + pension + bonus.
