Clinical Sister - HDU focuses on the successful candidate would be expected to support the educational needs of the team within the unit, working alongside management and the clinical educator team.

Skills and requirements

• Minimal 2 years working on the high dependency unit.
• Experience of shift leading/managing a team.
• Post grad course in critical care or equivalent.
• Employer certification / accreditation badges.

Confirmed role details

• They will be competent shift leads and be able to coordinate a level 2 critical care environment.
• Shift coordination/shift leading in conjunction with /absence of Band 7 Critical Care Nurse.
• Be able to communicate within a large multi-disciplinary team coordinating patient flow ensuring a safe admission and discharge process.
