We have an excellent full-time opportunity on Brabourne ward, which specializes in Haematological cancers at The Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
We are looking for a person who has previous experience working in the specialty and who has a systemic anti-cancer treatment (SACT) qualification.
To provide effective patient care whilst working as a member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needs.
By working clinically as a member of the nursing team, you will work in partnership with the Ward Manager to
Provide clinical, professional, and managerial leadership for a ward-based team of qualified and non-qualified staff. Deputize in the absence of the Ward Manager and ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care. Lead clinical nursing practice within the clinical area. Secure and assure the highest standards of clinical care with the support of the Matron and Head of Nursing. Manage clinical and non-clinical risk reporting to the Manager within the Directorate Clinical Governance Framework.
