$123,000 - $148,000 About the Role : This is a fixed-term Part Time position at 38 hours per fortnight within the Mental Health program. The Putting Families First (PFF) program aims to address system barriers to enable more coordinated, person-centred and evidence-informed service delivery to families, to improve their life outcomes. Families referred to PFF will be those where a mother has been in custody in the previous 12-months, or a child aged under 19 years has had a Youth Justice Order or other involvement with the youth justice system. You will be responsible for providing clinical support, consultation and capacity-building to the PFF core (OzChild), interdisciplinary team and associated area-based resources. The Clinical Specialist works to build and maintain partnerships to identify and respond to young people’s mental health problems and enhance pathways between services. What you’ll achieve : A key role in supporting Family Violence Multi Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) alignment. Leadership and support to staff within the service and encourage joint practice across mental health, AOD and family violence sectors. Promoting collaborative responses to family violence. Your skills and experience : A tertiary qualification or equivalent in relevant discipline. Current Registration as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Registered Nurse, qualified Social Worker, or Speech Pathologist. Demonstrated commitment to work with marginalised communities. Effectiveness in leadership, partnership, and collaboration. Experience in providing quality clinical / professional supervision to staff and students. Other requirements : Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain. Valid Working with Children Check. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain. Compliance with RCH’s “Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases” procedure.
