Band 7 - £48,788 – £56,747 (pro rata)
Plus £1,349 Distant Islands Allowance (pro rata)

An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered General Nurse to join the Clinical Support Nurses team based at Western Isles Hospital. Consideration may be given to appointing into a Band 6/7 development post on an annexe 20 commencing as a Band 6 transitioning to Band 7 on completion of learning and competencies.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical support and care to patients in an acute setting.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work effectively within a team.
Manage bed and operational management of acute areas.
Minimum Requirements:
RN1 Adult level registration with the NMC.
Current Advanced Life Support and European Paediatric Advanced Life Support certificate (preferably).
Competent in Non-Medical Prescribing and clinical assessment.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute setting.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
