We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic team based in Bury St Edmunds. We are looking for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker who is passionate about recovery-led care, focusing on promoting least restrictive practice on Northgate Ward, our mixed-sex Adult Acute Inpatient, and Southgate, our Adult Acute Inpatient unit based at Wedgwood House.
Both wards provide intense treatment for service users who are at their most vulnerable. Our team provides care and treatment at the most critical time in their mental health recovery and supports service users with a variety of diagnoses. We also deliver our care alongside a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled staff; our staff are specialists within mental health, and we work with established staffing levels to minimize risks and to work in a therapeutic way.

Skills
Essential Ability to work without direct supervision, liaising appropriately with other practitioners in the team. Able to use own initiative whilst liaising with other team members.
Qualifications
Essential Care Certificate - must be achieved within first 12 weeks of employment. NVQ L2/3 H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC.
Knowledge
Essential Understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality. Knowledge around mental health.
Other
Essential Able to travel independently. Able to complete mandatory training (PMA & ILS).
