The Role
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Support Worker to join the Emergency Department at University Hospital Wishaw!
The successful candidate will undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or community setting.
The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required.
Contract type & Shift Pattern
Band 3 / Permanent / Various hours available
Rotational - Day shift / Back shift / Nightshift

What we'll need you to bring
SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role
Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment
Ability to work unsupervised
To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development
Working knowledge of basic information technology
