are looking for fun and outgoing support workers to support a gentleman in his 40s, who has a diagnosis of Neurodegeneration. What makes Amore Complex Care a great place to work:

Who am I?

I am a gentleman in my 40's. What activities do I do?

I love watching movies, series and documentaries on CSI, Criminal Minds, and Superheroes. I am also a big Manchester City Fan. What challenges do I have?

My mobility is very restricted and I require assistance with my hoist and sling. My speech is also affected by my condition and is limited. I communicate mainly through hand signals and head movements. I also have a PEG and require my medication through this. What types of people do I get along with?

Bubbly and chatty people who can match my energy. I am non-verbal, so I also get on well with people who can be patient with my communication. If my staff are funny, we will get on just fine. My team

How many people support me at one time?

2:1 staffing ratio during the day, and 1:1 for night shifts. What shift patterns do my team do?

Long day sleeps. What are my team trained in?

My staff will get a bespoke training course specifically to cover my needs. Job responsibilities

Assisting with goal-oriented activities and daily living skills. Monitor the service user's physical and emotional well-being. Assisting with personal care. Supporting with sensory needs. Provide person-centred support. Support with household duties, such as cooking and cleaning. Assist the individual in developing and maintaining positive relationships in the community. Job Types:
