30.00 Hours Per Week An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic experienced CSW to join the Trauma & Orthopaedics Outpatients team, working between both Russells Hall Hospital and Corbett Outpatients Centre. The service runs Monday- Friday (08:30-18:00) with additional weekend and evening clinics running occasionally. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge or build on your current knowledge and experience. You will be working in both elective orthopaedic, trauma orthopaedic as well as virtual clinics. If you require further information regarding this vacancy please contact Lead Nurse Katrina Kerr, T&O OPD, Ext 3169 or 4636 or via email katrina.kerr@nhs.net Main duties of the job The Clinical Support Worker will work together with members of the Nursing / Midwifery team and contribute to the implementation of a high standard and individualised patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. The post holder will be required to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients and relatives and must be able to recognise and report to the appropriate person any changes in the patient's condition which may require the intervention of others. The post holder will be assessed on appointment on their level of competence and required as part of the Trust's training and development programme for clinical support workers to undertake a structured pathway of development to include basic skills and in-house development programme.
