In addition to providing excellent care, our clinical team leaders manage a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants ensuring the effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of holistic care for our service users. Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice in Cheltenham is Gloucestershire's only inpatient unit for specialist palliative care. We support people aged 18 and over who are living with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, heart failure, and lung disease by combining specialist medical care for managing pain and other symptoms with emotional, practical, and spiritual support. We are able to provide care on our inpatient unit, virtually and in person through our community hub and in people's homes through our Hospice at Home service. You will be based in the InPatient Unit working as an integrated member of multi-disciplinary teams. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a leadership role within Palliative and End of Life Care. They will be able to evidence additional, role-specific qualifications and professional development and can offer support, leadership, and mentorship to junior members of staff and the nursing team.
