Job summary Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in education settings across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland serving the children, young people (CYP), their families and communities. We are seeking a Clinical Team Leader for the following areas: Melton & Rutland, Hinckley and Northwest Leicestershire, and Loughborough/Charnwood Teams. Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland MHST is an early intervention and preventative mental health and emotional wellbeing service. Main duties of the job In this role you will support the teams to provide a high-quality service to CYP (and their families) experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This will be done through the supervision of staff and implementation of service improvement, supporting participation and co-production work with CYP and supporting the organisation of the Whole School Approach work. This work will be in accordance with clinical governance processes and professional standards. The Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for the development of the day-to-day management of the teams. The teams operate Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, excluding Bank Holidays, with some staff working flexibly. The Clinical Team Lead will work with the Service Managers and Clinical Leads and other senior colleagues, ensuring delivery of a high quality, effective and efficient Early Intervention Service. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of integrated pathways alongside colleagues within MHST and external partners to support a seamless service delivery built around children and young people. The Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators and quality schedules. As a Clinical Team Leader you will also manage your own case load delivering early intervention to young people, including complex cases and mental health assessments.
