Administration Officer Level 3, 1-2 years Remuneration:

$34.46 - $35.54 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO’s. THE ROLE: The Administration Officer is a valued member of Calvary Mater Newcastle (CMN). As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining office stationery, managing office IT and phone equipment requests, coordinating requests for payment in conjunction with finance, monitoring documents, managing requests for patient records, providing general administrative support, and more. DUTIES: Support the Clinical Trial Unit Manager with administrative tasks including basic filing, roster management, meeting management, and minute taking. Manage Kronos payroll information for the unit. Support finance and coordinators with ongoing administrative tasks related to the management of clinical trials. Support clinical trial coordinators with scanning and filing. Support the management of laboratory inventory. Communicate effectively with the trial team and other supporting departments within the hospital. Other administrative tasks as determined by the Clinical Trial Unit Manager for the level of responsibility. ABOUT YOU: Qualification in health or research administration, or working towards it, or a combination of qualifications or experience. Strong administrative, organisation, and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Word, Outlook. Demonstrated attention to detail with a very high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processes. Demonstrated ability to organise work and complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to effectively problem-solve, show initiative, and execute sound judgement.
