About Us
Our well-established Clinical Psychology Doctoral programme is one of the largest in the country and is characterised by a distinctive community, social inequalities approach to its subject matter. The Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme at the University of East London is well-established (clinical psychology training began at UEL in 1975). UEL is a vibrant and diverse university located in Stratford and Docklands. We are developing and starting to implement a new strategy, Vision 2028, to transform our curriculum and partnerships to make a positive difference to student, graduate and community success.
About the Job
The appointed person will provide line management, coordinate placement provision, and provide clinical skills seminars, teaching and research supervision to trainees across the three years of the Doctoral Training programme. With support and oversight from the Programme Director and Deputy Programme Director (Clinical), you will join a supportive, skilled and friendly small team and will input to the components of the programme that focus on the development and assessment of clinical skills.
About You
The appointed person will have a qualification and substantial experience in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology and be registered with the HCPC to practice as a Practitioner Psychologist. Previous supervisory experience in the NHS is essential, and/or contribution to Clinical Psychology training programmes is desirable.
