Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Clinical Workforce Administrator to provide administrative support to the Clinical Workforce Manager and the Clinical Workforce Team. We have a Clinical Workforce Team of around 40 staff made up of Nurses and other Allied Health professionals.

The post holder will support the team in day-to-day administrative issues and assist the Manager in organizing meetings, planning and implementing strategic plans, quality improvement, and service development work.

This is a part-time post working 24 hours with some flexibility in the hours to be worked.

Main Duties of the Job

Planning and Organisation

Support the Clinical Workforce Manager in day-to-day personal administration and management of the Clinical Workforce Team. Manage the manager's diary to ensure effective use of time, identifying, discussing, and resolving diary conflicts. Ensure preparation and availability of necessary paperwork and information required in advance of diary commitments. Manage communication into the office including electronic, paper, telephone, and face-to-face in support of the manager, particularly during times of absence. Arrange and attend meetings, including preparation and circulation of all associated papers/documentation, minute-taking, specifying decisions made and action points for subsequent approval by the Clinical Workforce Manager.

Human Resources

Undertake RTW interviews for Nursing and AHP team, escalating to the Manager where more complex/ongoing issues arise. Arrange induction programmes based on an agreed template (in liaison with the Clinical Workforce Manager and Rota team), and coordinate signing off of core skills and competencies for new and existing staff. Support staff in facilitating and ensuring that mandatory training and Revalidation is undertaken, escalating any issues to the Clinical Workforce Manager.
