Qualifications & Training
Essential Criteria
Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS. Desirable Criteria
Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training, health psychology and/or other fields of applied psychology. Experience
Essential Criteria
Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings including outpatient, community, primary care, in-patient and residential care settings. Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience of working in a clinical health psychology specialty. Experience working in an MDT with psychology and non-psychology professionals. Desirable Criteria
Experience of working in a cancer service. Experience of psychological work with people with a range of physical health problems. Experience of assessing and treating clients across the full range of care settings. Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision. Skills

Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment, intervention, and management. Consultation to psychology and non-psychology professionals.
