Our client is committed to making their offerings smarter, faster, and more secure. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with senior engineers, directly influence business outcomes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of their infrastructure through automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions. If you're motivated by problem-solving, reducing inefficiencies, and working with cutting-edge technology, this could be the role for you. Key Responsibilities:

Engage directly with systems and tools to develop the necessary infrastructure and automation. Collaborate across different business units, building services for both internal teams and external customers. Work closely with the Cloud Operations team to deploy and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure. Utilize automation frameworks built by the Platform Engineering team to improve usability and efficiency. Evaluate and integrate new tools as the team evolves and grows. Focus heavily on development work, with a goal of refining and extending automation processes. Explore new tools and solutions to further enhance productivity. Document your work to ensure efficient knowledge transfer and future maintenance. Key Tools and Technologies You Will Use:

You'll spend your time with tools like Terraform for infrastructure as code, Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment, and Git for version control. You'll be hands-on with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and will dive into both Windows and Linux environments, keeping everything running smoothly across multiple platforms. The Experience You Bring:

To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, with a deep understanding of networking concepts (think VNETs, subnets, DNS, and WAF). You'll have experience with scripting languages like Terraform and PowerShell and be comfortable working with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML) to automate builds and deployments. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux systems is crucial. If you have experience with containerization, security tooling, or database technologies like SQL Server and Azure SQL, you'll find plenty of opportunities to apply that knowledge here. And if you've worked with Ansible, Bash, or Python, even better - you'll be able to bring even more automation and efficiency to the platform. Why Work for Us?

This is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to grow with a company that's pushing the boundaries of what's possible in financial data automation. At a time of significant expansion, you'll have the chance to shape the way they work utilizing cutting-edge technology to solve real-world problems for some of the world's biggest financial institutions. In return for your efforts, our client is offering an exciting and supportive work environment alongside an extensive benefits package that includes a discretionary bonus scheme, and plenty of opportunities for learning and career development.
