About the Role

Base Location:

Reading, Havant, Glasgow or Perth

Salary:

£33,500 - £50,300 + performance related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern:

Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As a member of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team within Cloud you would contribute to the delivery of core cloud services delivered within SSE. The primary objectives are to help teams across the organisation adopt our cloud platform, providing best practice information and support; and to help improve our services through monitoring & automation. The role will provide the opportunity to be part of SSE's digital transformation and Cloud migration journey, ensuring the platform achieves the target standards of efficiency, resilience and availability required by the organisation.

This role focuses on the core cloud platform and associated infrastructure and will give the right candidate the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects across a variety of services and cloud platforms.
