Hybrid Working: Your work locations will vary based on your role, business needs, and personal preferences. This will include a mix of office-based work, client sites, and home working, with the understanding that 100% home working is not an option. Your Role Assessing, defining, and implementing Kubernetes and OpenShift capabilities that enhance DevOps efficiency, delivering innovation, agility, cost optimisation, and faster time to market. Adopting a comprehensive approach to modernising the developer experience, focusing on key dimensions such as organisation and culture, DevOps practices, processes, automation, and tooling. Architecting and designing scalable & resilient cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment, management, and optimisation of containerised applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation strategies, reduce operational complexity, and ensure continuous improvement across the platform. Guiding teams in leveraging cloud-native solutions and multi-cloud environments to meet evolving business and technical requirements, ensuring flexibility and future-proof architecture. Your Skills and Experience Solid understanding of Kubernetes &/or OpenShift with the ability to deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes &/or OpenShift clusters Experience in container orchestration to ensure efficient management and orchestration of containerised applications, including automated deployment, scaling, and management Experience with security best practices including RBAC, image scanning, pod security policies, container security & network policies Enabling continuous delivery while ensuring reliability, quality, observability, and performance Understanding of observability and monitoring platform; Experience of having collaborated with developers to implement and improve observability and monitoring practices is preferred. Security and governance models for cloud engineering and operations -Desired Has strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Being comfortable in a client-facing role, with previously consulting or advisory experience.
