Cloud Security Engineer Location - Cambridge (Hybrid) Salary - £70,000 - £80,000
We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join one of our clients. You will design and implement robust security controls, optimise cloud security tools, and collaborate with teams to embed security practices.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement robust security controls to ensure the integrity and safety of infrastructure, applications, and data. Optimise the utilisation of cloud security tools and services, specifically in AWS and Azure environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from inception to deployment. Conduct infrastructure threat modelling and security architecture reviews to provide effective security recommendations. Monitor and analyse security events on cloud platforms to promptly detect and respond to potential threats.
Requirements: Extensive experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on cloud security operations. Proven ability to lead infrastructure threat modelling and security architecture reviews. Proficiency in utilising AWS and Azure services, containers, and cloud-native security tools. Familiarity with automated security processes, such as CI/CD pipeline security and infrastructure-as-code security. Relevant certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Speciality or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, would be advantageous.
