The opportunity: As a Cloud Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for bringing architectural visions to life through technical implementation, configuration, and automation. You'll work directly with clients to deploy security solutions, conduct proof of concepts, and deliver technical demonstrations that showcase the value of our security solutions. The candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance - SC level.

Location: Remote working with flexibility for traveling to client sites as required. Role and responsibilities: Technical Implementation Deploy and configure Azure security solutions, with particular focus on: Azure Sentinel implementation and configuration Identity and access management solutions Security monitoring and logging solutions Cloud security posture management tools Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates Create automation scripts and workflows for security operations Configure security tools and integrate with existing client systems Implement security controls and policies across cloud environments Solution Delivery: Execute proof of concept (PoC) and proof of value (PoV) implementations Conduct technical demonstrations of security solutions Develop and maintain technical documentation Create implementation guides and runbooks Support security assessments with technical validation Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementations Client Engagement: Provide technical expertise during client workshops Support solution architects in technical discussions Deliver technical training to client teams Demonstrate security solution capabilities Provide hands-on knowledge transfer to clients Document technical findings and recommendations Practice Support: Create reusable technical assets and deployment templates Contribute to our security solution accelerators Support pre-sales activities with technical demonstrations Maintain technical documentation and implementation guides Share knowledge and best practices with the team Stay current with latest security technologies and features Required skills and experience: Extensive experience within IT security, with significant focus on cloud security Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security services: Azure Sentinel deployment and configuration Azure Network Security setup Proficiency in: PowerShell scripting Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) Git and version control CI/CD pipelines API integration Security automation Implementation Experience Certifications: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200), Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), Microsoft 365 Security Administrator (MS-500) SIEM deployment and configuration Log analytics setup Security monitoring implementation Identity solution deployment Security control implementation Cloud security automation Desirable skills and experience: Experience with AWS and/or GCP security services Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) Understanding of compliance requirements (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC2) Experience with DevSecOps tools and practices Security+ or equivalent security certification Scripting experience in Python or similar languages Benefits: 25 days of Annual leave + an option to purchase more through our Flexible Benefits Flex benefits system – exciting opportunity to choose your own benefits Pension - matching contribution up to 10% Private Medical Scheme Life Assurance Unlimited opportunities to learn in our Training platforms As a Disability Confident employer, our aim is to ensure that disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for this position will be offered an interview.
