KOOSA Kids are the leading provider of fun & affordable before, after school and holiday childcare. KOOSA Kids are now recruiting for After School Club Childcare Assistant to work Monday to Friday at our club at St Michael's Infant School in Aldershot, Hampshire (GU11). This role is part-time, term time only, working Monday to Friday from 2.45 - 6.00pm. The role As an After School Club Assistant, you will actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club. Following direction from the After School Club Manager, you will assist in the delivery of the scheduled programme of activities, whilst providing a safe and secure environment for the children in your care. Enabling them to explore, grow and have FUN! Responsibilities Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club. Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of 'snack time.' Maintain sensitivity for any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary). Develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding. Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Experience in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery is beneficial. Skills & Experience Passion for or interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting. Inspirational, bringing fun and creativity to the team. Fun and energetic nature. Reliable and passionate. Ability to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years. Fantastic communication skills. Ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard. Ability to be cleared for an enhanced DBS check. Opportunities for qualifications and further growth & development. Full training and inductions will be provided.
