We are now recruiting for After School Club Playwork Childcare Supervisor at our club at Wellington Primary School in Aldershot (GU11 1QJ). This role is part time, term time only, working Monday to Friday from 2.45 - 6.00pm. The role As After School Club Supervisor, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and management of an after school club. Managing and directing a small team, you will ensure the safe and organised running of the club, fully supported by your Regional Manager and a dedicated Operations Team at Head Office. Every afternoon, the After School Club Supervisor will supervise an after school club where you and your team will directly organise, deliver and participate in activities with the children in your care. You will ensure all activities are delivered to KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards at all times, providing a safe and secure environment for the children to explore, grow, and have FUN! Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the After School Club at Wellington Primary School. Manage safe and secure 'sign in & sign out' process each day, communicating effectively with school staff & parents. Develop a thorough understanding of KOOSA Kids programme of activity and deliver activities accordingly to children each afternoon. Maintain sensitivity for any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary). Purchase healthy snacks for the After School Club. Develop an understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding. Ensure the After School Club operates to Ofsted and KOOSA Kids policies & procedures at all times. Carry out daily risk assessments & complete all relevant operational paperwork. Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years managerial/supervisory experience in a childcare, early years or playwork setting. A Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential. Experience working in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery is ideal. Be reliable and passionate about childcare. Ability to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years. Opportunities for further growth & development will be available.
